Hi Dave

Two quick questions for you. I notice from caravan talk that you fitted shock absorbers to your 600 earlier in the year. Can you tell me the colour you fitted and whether it was a difficult job or not please?

P.S Got the van last Saturday and very well pleased with it. It's vast inside compared to the old one!

Nick, sorry for the long delay in my reply I hadn't noticed this thread.

I fitted red shock absorbers after some debate with my dealer who supplied the wrong ones initially. Having said that, I've noticed that the MTPLM of the 2008 model has gone up from my 2007 so you'd need to check depending on which model you have.

The first shock took me about 45 minutes which was much longer than most people mentioned. However, subsequent ones only took 10-15 minutes once I found the technique (my hot tip is to use an awl to remove the plastic plug in the suspension arm). It wasn't a difficult job.
