FAO Ellis (or anyone) re Noseweights

Just checked the user manual of my Renault Scenic 1.4 16V (see previous post) and the noseweight is 65Kgs.

the van I am hoping to tow is an Eriba Familia 310GT, well within the 85% rule for towing, but with a noseweight of 75Kgs.

How important is this going to be and Ellis, if you read this what is the noseweight of your Scenic?

A dealer has already told me I would have not problems towing this van, and whattowcar.com gave them as a "good" match.

any advice would be gratefully received. (",)
 
Mark, With regards to the nose weight of the 75kg for the van, is that the maximum allowable by the van manufacturer or their estimated ex factory weight?

In any event you will have to keep the actual weight to less than the car limit of 65kg. You should be able to do with a bit of careful loading.
