Hi Emmerson.

Was nice to see you Tuesday. Sorry the timing was a trifle adrift. SWBO had just done brunch and we were due at the doctors late pm.

Hopefully we can meet again one day.

I did cruise past The Leen but couldn't see the RR so presumed you had departed.

All the best.

Steve L.

Doh.

It was the afternoon I drove by.

Out here where we are it is so quiet that we have to set an alarm clock to be up by noon. We had 7 weeks at a site at Moreton on Lugg next to the A49 which is the main trunk route out of LB's cider city of Hereford. He did warn me about the traffic, but it was beyond expectation. Lorries started at 5am and didn't give in until 1am next morning. So having gone from 200 vehicles an hour wizzing past to our current site where the only noise abatement order that need's serving is to a woodpecker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We seem to be suffering a type of jet lag, or is that traffic insomnia.

I looked up The Leen on tinternet. Their prices are half what you'd pay on our site as a tourer + 2 adults and they charge

Welcome bach sir. It's been a quiet month here, except for our "forest Grump" of a warden.

He's a star. First of all ranting at the local Landlady's little girl for riding her bike on the access road, her mum was not far behind. That cost him a public appology in the village pub.

It's ok for him though to ride his bike on the same road flat out though!!

Then he had a rant at a newly arrived caravanner for having one dog on it's lead but another one off it's lead, but the leadless dog wasn't hers.

He them after finding that out at the end of his rant, too the dog back to it's owner and proceeded to explain much quieter to them that their dog had got out. Reason for that was not shame, but buttkiss, the owner is quite an angling celebrity and "forest" is trying to rub shoulders.

My trusty Laguna had a hissy fit last week and had to be towed. I found the fault after two days, a faulty fuel pump. Duely purchased a scrapyard replacement. But I'm gona put the old girl out to pasture and get a Rover 75 diesel estate next. Not too patriotic car wise, but the rover seems to be a good alternative to Renault given that it has the opening estate rear window and a thrifty BMW diesel that does a healthy 50+ mpg average. Got to watch the pennies as I'm off work for another year. They've now found I've got a compressed vertibrae of the spine and the disc is pressing on the spinal cord, to complement my shoulder operation that is going on soon.

Oh what fun life brings.

All the best Steve L.
