fao , graham re old or new

hi graham , we were new to caravaning ourselves . we live in wales but travelled to highly recomended chipping sodbury caravans to look . we went for a new bailey ranger , you dont have to pay the £450 delivery there as you do in wales . we went in the end of nov . ended up buying a two year old senetor vermont. They were desperate to get rid of the older models to make room for new batch. £ 14000 new , but we had it for £9500. they knocked £700 off the £10,200 asking price , it had a mover on it , an alloy wheel lock worth £130. after we bought it , they threw in a wastemaster , aqua roll ,110 v leisure battery and number plate. when i phoned up for reg no to insure it they told me they had made a mistake , it was only one year old but i could have it for same price !!!great to deal with as is aftersales .it was like either buying a brand new basic fiesta or a two year old mondeo with all the toys and from a reputed dealer , peace of mind . hope this experience helps

belatedly

well we jumped in at the show and bought an Avondale Dart because the deal was so good. Now eagerly awaiting the day we pick it up (7/11). Am changing the electrics on the car because the Dart has a Eurosocket, and getting the kit we need to tow it and keep it safe ( mirrors, wheel lock and gas connections etc). Looking forward to our first trip.

The forums are a great help, would have been lost without your advice.
