FAO Lord B or anyone else that can help

Hi Jo-anne.

If you are into Great Western trains which would have severed Coventry and Stratford there's a good museum at Didcot near Oxford with live trains and train trips.or if you fancy a trip up to York there's are marvellous museum there and they've got a Japanese bullet train there that you can go and sit in.They are all on the internet through Google.Good Luck and a Very Happy Christmas to you and your Family.Jimbob ex Stratford -on -Avon.

The one you are thinking of is called "Steam" . It sits on the site of the old Swindon Railway Works, next door to the outlet village. There is also the Swindon and Cricklade Railway.

Also you have the Honeybourne Line running from near Cheltenham towards Stratford Upon Avon (Not that far yet).

Cheers

Alan
