I know I have posted this before, but I missed the reply.

Would it be possible for subscribers to the magazine to be able to access back issues / test reveiws FOC as it is a bit insulting for us to be charged for them when we have:

a) OWe have already bought the magazine from you

b) Also we provide you with regular income rather than just cherry picking the issues we want.

As I don't have the space / permission from wife to store all my subscribed Haymarket magazines, such a feature would be a nice touch especially as us long term subscribers also don't land you with the cost of the current 'free ticket promotion'.

Some product reviews and features can be accessed f.o.c. from this website by clicking on the home page logo and then clicking on the items such as features, product tests, accessories and so on. Click on the title of the section that you want to look at and unlike this forum the rest of the website supports clickable links.

Caravan reviews are not included however.

Hi Zafiral,

I can understand your point of view, but I can also understand the publishers perspective on charging for back issues.

If it was the case that the publisher always made the full article available on line (even though it may be several months later) they would find that their primary sales of the magazine would drop, because people will simply wait for the free version on line.

It costs money to produce these reviews and without an income stream from magazine sales and the advertising they carry they could not fund them.

It may seem petty but if you have already purchased the magazine, why not look through your own copy?

John I agree about not having the full mag freely avaiable on line, I was just thinking that a deal could be done for subscribers.

As I have been a subscriber for about 3 years through OH's understandable pressure, unfortunately I no longer have all my back issues. I used to subscribe to 3 monthly magazines, now reduced to two (both of which are Haymarket BTW) and I needed the space in the garage for the full awning!!!

It would just be nice if the publishers rewarded the constant income they receive from long term subscribers.
