I posted in UK Sites at approx 9.40am today.......this was showing that it had been accepted BUT did not appear in the replies for Northern Scotland.

I then put a query under Our Web-site asking if there were gremlins in the system this morning and that has also disappeared. As it had taken a good while for me to do a posting I feel annoyed that it isn't there.....and no explanation either. Can you please respond?

There was a problem with the forum for a while this morning, not accepting new posts.

I reported it and all seems OK now. I sympathise with your frustration Maureen. I too lost a carefully worded post this morning!

The reason given for the fault is: "This was an issue with the database, the contention ratio had maxed out".

Hope that means more to you that it does to me!

Hmmmmmmmmm well I posted on Monday evening which failed - I tried twice yesterday without luck and also earlier today. I notice where the different Forums are listed lots of people have posted under various topics but when looking there is nothing there. After doing a bit of searching it seems the fault was still happening at 10.37am. Seems to be ok now though.

I hope so Lord B. Fouldsy tried both last night and the night before to post what he claims to be some of his finest writing ( I think he was on the rant again) only for the whole thing to disappear before his eyes. The resulting mood did not make for a restful evening - please MOD tell us it's cured!
