farm sites in europe

In 2010 we went on a three month tour of Europe and had a wonderful time. At that time I had acquired a book of free camping farm sites that let you stay free of charge as long as you bought some of their produce. I never actually used it but my son intends to tour Europe soon and this would be right up his street. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I could get the book. Nigel
 
Camping a la Ferme will indeed list farm sites but many of them will not be free - indeed I know some which are twice as expensive as some good municipals. Gerneally in France it is a faily short season aandso the farms will charge to defray the cost of providing EHU , many have some toilet block facilities and so on.

I don't think this is unreasonable - after all we use CL's in UK many of which are on farms and they are certainly not free.
