Another piece of useless information just in time for the festive season. Following the 128.56 mph world speed record set in September for towing a twin axle, a Porsche Cayenne Turbo has now also broken the outright world towing speed record (with a single axle this time). The outfit achieved a speed of 143.52 mph.

I seem to remember being overtaken by him on the M5 last year........
It must have been a Dutch driver.
Obviously no speed cameras then! Can someone forward this to Jeremy Clarkson as he might then take a different view of our hobby, or am I just being naive?
was the single axle a 32 foot static?
