fed up.......its damp

well i am now fed up, my caravan came back from its second service and it has 72% damp in the back corner. apparently its one of those things that happen. but, and its a big but, we have only used it for a total of 2 nights in the last 17 months..(credit crunch and both being self employed hasnt helped) the van has only been used for 9 nights since we purchased it new in aug 2008. we have been told it will have to go back in for the work doing, thankfully covered by the warranty, but it might be a wait of a couple of months. which will fall just about when we are planning on going away. is it just us that this has happened to, are we really unlucky, or is it normal. the caravan is a compass corona 524.

no expert but having had several vans new and old it seems any van can fail at any time, it is reasonably rare to have that level of damp in a 2008 van, however we had a newer van which leaked badly and cost the earth i also have an old swift which has never leaked...go figure, good luck with it all i am sure they will do a stirling job
