Two years ago I planted a lot of mixed bird seed but no a one came up. What am I doing wrong ?

It might be that the seed has to pass through the birds gut and out of it's ass to germinate ... heh! heh! heh!

Something else that is popular with our feathered friends is morrisons value fruit scones, and blackbirds love sultana's.
Bread soaked in dripping doesn't last long either.

I found that the fat balls were not being eaten in the realy cold weather, the I realised that they were frozen. In the bad weather I bring them into the garage overnight now.
Don't forget to put water out each day. The starlings were bathing when it was -9. Apparently it is imoportant to keep their feathers in good shape as insulators.
