Hi All, I've been checking on the prices for the Portsmouth Bilboa crossing for next spring for a while now and I have been getting quotes from AT Ferries and P&O. They have been between £640 and £695 for our combination of car, van and passengers.
I only paid £588 last year for the same thing, and was not prepared to pay the extra. So we decided blow it and take one of the the short crossing and then motor down through France.
I have just checked now and find that the AT Ferry is now down to £499. It seems that if you book early you are not rewarded with a lower fare.
We have just booked this crossing at the low price but how about all the people who have booked at £695. If I had I would be thinking I had been ripped off.
I now wonder if I should have waited a couple more weeks to see if they come down again!!
