we are going to spain in november does anyone know if there are any ferry stand by fares.Wedont mind what day or time but would prefere the bilbau or santander crosing but would consider any rought if the costs are right

To my knowledge, there's no such thing as standby tickets on the ferries - usually they're all running half empty most of the time. By leaving it till the last minute, you'll pay the highest price. The earlier you book - the better the price.

As John says, there arn't any stand bys, but try www Ferrybookers.co.uk they seem to have some good last minute deals.

have you looked into an over night Dover-Calais. You may find the caravan goes FREE.

Have a kip on the Quay side at Calais, then drive safely
