Has anyone yet discovered any good deals for car + caravan to cross the channel "short" routes?

I just rang the Caravan Club and they are quoting £149 return for mid-June out / mid July back, 8am-ish travel both ways. That's nearly 30 quid more than last year....

There must be some deals out there somewhere..

Let's swop information

Garry,

Norfolk Line is reserved for freight, cars and car / caravan travellers - this means no foot passengers and no coach parties.

Compared to the Dover - Calais route, it's a much quieter and pleasant service.

I commute by car between Rotterdam and Wendover almost every other week, in the winter by Eurotunnel, and by Norfolk Line or P&O in the summer (nice to have a rest) - P&O give frequent travellers an upgrade to Club Class - especially useful if the boat is full of coach parties. Norfolk Line is fine by comparison, I'm veggie so I haven't tried all of the food options - but they look OK.

Garry, we used Norfolk Line last August, and found it first class. Quiet, pleasant, and the breakfast is excellent! We took our dog, so the short crossing was ideal.
