Been meaning to do this for a while now, and boredom at work has allowed me to finally take the time to register.
So, hi all. I'm Nick, married to Liz with two boys Liam (4) and Ethan (18 months). We have been caravanning since March this year and been away about 9 times since then.
We have a 5 berth Compass Amazon 505 (Campbells Caravans Special, based on the Corona with a few extras) and a Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0l Diesel. Only just got the tow car, as my Mondeo TDCI130 blew up a few weeks ago. Havent tried pulling the van yet, dying to though. Will have to wait until Half term when we are going to the Lakes for the week.
Sorry, gone on a bit now. We are all dead keen and want to learn all the tricks of the trade as it were. We spend most of our time walking around caravan sites getting ideas from people.
Its great with the kids, put them in a field with Sticks, Mud and optional trees and they love it.
Anyway, will have a read of the forums and get involved.
