fire guard

Hello it's Byron again. I am really surprised no-one has any comments on this topic. I cannot be the only caravanner ever to have a toddler and needed to protect them from being burned

We're stuck with the same problem. Getting babies/ toddlers equipment for caravans is a nightmare. We cured the cot problem by canibalising the wooden side of a cot and fitting it to brackets so that we have a safe place for our toddler to sleep. We didn't like the idea of a travel cot in case of fire and is difficult to use during the day. With winter coming up a fire guard is a bit more urgent. We have so far only come up with a barracade to keep her one end of the van away from the heater. This however is a pain as it stops our 6 year old and me too! The wife is ok because she is tall and can step over it. If you come across anything please let me know!
