First Timers

Travelling in September but only to Rouen. Any tips for first timers, what do I need to do with my headlights nowdays, anything you think I may forget which is second nature to you? any help, much apprciated.
 
as well the spare bulbs, red triangle,first aid kit, you are required by law to take high vis jackets/waistcoats for every passenger in the car and also a fire extinguisher,both the jacket and the extinguisher must be in the car, not the boot.
 
Steve - make sure you don't forget the obvious things like passports, E111 forms, ferry tickets etc. And don't forget to call into a supermarket on your way home to stock up with vino and some lovely french cheeses! Have a great trip.

Make sure you get your temporary E111 from the post office before 31st August.
