Hi everyone,does anyone have any good fishing venues within an hours towing distance say 50 miles of Wellingborough .I am at the moment having to drive 100 miles plus to find a good days fishing and a good site at which to stay.

There's a cracking site in South Wales called Whitesprings, its more of a fishing comples that a caravan park but the fishing is top. 5-6 lakes, match - coarse and specimen.

The guy's name is Vince and the details can be found on the Fisheries.com website.
 
Hi Chris, try Billing Aquadrome just outside Northampton. Several lakes and a stretch of the River Nene. Also nearby Castle Ashby fishery. Fish the big lake from the pegs at the road end. Method feeder with sweetcorn on the hook....works for me! Good luck.
 
hi not sure where you live but northam farm brean sands somerset is a great site for fishing and is free fishing and good

the site it self as good faclities and clean

if you dont mind a site with no faclities eastnor castle nr ledbury in the malvans

as a good fshing pool and free and the park is very nice
