Fitting Fiamma security 46 pro

I would like help in establishing the optimum height at which to mount the Fiamma Pro 46 handle/lock to a motorhome, ie give or take a few inches up or down. Any help please. David
 
Hi Dave

I fitted one recently to our caravan to be used mainly as a hand rail for our disabled daughter.

I positioned ours so that I could access the caravan door handle and lock when the arm was closed and so that it was fairly central to the split door.

Obviously check that you will not interfere with any internal fitments or cables before drilling.

To be honest I doubt that this lock will keep a determined intruder at bay but it is some deterrent against opportunists.
