Fitting Milenco Grand Aero Mirrors

I've just purchased a pair of Milenco Grand Aero Mirrors and wondered if there's anyone else who tows with a VW Tiguan? If so do you attach your mirrors on the bottom or top of your vehicles mirrors?

I originally fitted mine on top, which seemed "normal", but someone suggested underneath which works much better on my drivers door but would be too low on the passenger's side.

Not got the VW but found they work both ways but prefer the lower position on my Mazda.

I fit mine on the bottom on my kuga as it's straight and easier to attach.

Thanks intransient1, that is the case on the Tiguan so I'll try fitting underneath too!
