Hi

Any members known of any manufacturies who can supply a shaped bed cover to fit a fixed bed set-up. The only fixed bed caravan that comes with one as standard is the Adria. Asked at several dealers but they all shake their heads "sorry not available make it yourself".

Sorry. My van (European) came with both a shaped mattress cover and a duvet cover plus 2 pillow covers, all nicely emblazoned with the manufacturer's logo. My wife doesn't like them by the way. My only suggestion would be to take a cover to your local seamstress with the dimensions, and het him/her to re-stitch it for you.

There was a posting a little while ago from someone who had set up in business making such covers but as S L says a local seamstress could easily modify an existing duvet cover etc.

We have a 2in sponge mattress overlay which we put inside a duvet cover as the bottom sheet.

The excess from the cover is folded underneath and pinned back with safety pins

The top duvet folds under along the two sides anyway and looks quite neat when made up.

We have now discovered that a sponge overlay will fit exactly inside a single duvet cover leaving a small triangle on one corner to fold under and pin back.

While not as good as the above fitted sheets it remains wrinkle free for a long time and is probably a lot cheaper to buy.
