We purchased our Fleetwood late last year and have travelled extensively throughout the winter.
You could imagine the feelings we had upon our return with the news that Fleetwood have gone into receivership when we had a list of warranty issues that need attention!
The dealer from where we purchased the van is a sole owner and the MD is pre-occupied with stating that the warranty no longer exists and is attemping to sell us a new Insurance policy with Mechanical Breakdown & General Insurance Services - the same company who Fleetwood had appointed for years two and three but it is claimed that they didn't pay up the premiums.
Does anyone have experience and comments about taking a dealership to Small Claims Court to secure our Statutory rights under The Sale of Goods Act 1979?
