Flogas question

Flogas is readily available throughout the country and the equivalent is a lot cheaper than a normal steel calorgas 6kg cylinder. This company do it for almost £10 less than Calor gas. Surely Calor and Flogas obtain their gas from the same supplier so why the huge cost difference?
We have Calorlite gas cylinders however at a saving of £10 per bottle it is worth considering changing to the heavier Flogas cylinder. In addition, Flogas are the suppliers of the old "BP" Gaslite cylinders now known as MacGas Cylinders which can be obtained from Homebase.
A full 10kg Gaslite bottle weighs just under 16kg. I am not sure of the weight of the 6kg Flogas cylinder, but it probbaly weighs in at about 14kgs. I think the calorlite bottle is about 9kgs, but open to correction. I have no idea what sort of gas connection they use for their propane bottles.
It makes me wonder why mroe people are not using Flogas in their caravans if it is so much more cheaper?

The link in my post the 6kg Flogas refill is 12.99 delivered to your door which is substantially cheaper than Calorgas lite at £23.

Tare weight is the empty weight of the bottle, 6/7kg bottles weigh 8kg empty so propane bottle is 8+6=14kg full. Calorlite bottle is 50% lighter so 4+6=10kg full

As for fitment, all propane bottles use the same female thread for screw on regulators. The small 4.5kg butane bottles sometimes use the same male thread, but, others and all larger bottles use one of two sizes of clip-on regulators depending on supplier and are not interchangeable. (21mm and 22mm I believe are the two neck sizes).
