Amazing a 2009 thread has been picked up again. Never did hear if the OP problem was the shower or toilet.
In addition to my message this out of warranty. I will be removing the silicone tomorrow and try to repair. I dont know if that bottom plastic base will come off or not. But I could sure do with advice, I am having to clean this mess everyday. Please I need guidence
