Focus TDci 115 or Mondeo TDci 130?

Firstly hello to everyone as I am new to this forum

I am changing my towcar from a Land Rover Defender 300TDi and wondered about the suitablity of either of the above cars to tow a 1992 2 berth Avondale Sandmartin. When I bought the 'van last Autumn the weight of it did not concern me as the Land Rover would easily pull it. I would prefer the focus as I do not really need a large car but am worried about the 'van being too much of a strain on the engine? I think the Sandmartin weighs 918 kilos ULW.
 
We have a mondeo tdci 130hp which tows my Bailey pageant burgundy all day in 5th gear on the flat and up hill,no problem.Unladen weight of van is 1180kg and 1400kg laden.We have toured all over scotland with our previous van (lunar clubman) and have had no problems.Highly recomended.
