Fold-down kitchen taps

Our Lunar has sink taps which fold down to be under the cover when lowered. Very stiff to fold up or down (a rotary motion). I have tried a drop of olive oil to free it up a bit. Any better ideas please ?

Its very likely to be the plastic slowly absorbing water and swelling which unfortunately means nothing is going to free it.

Your best bet is to identify the tap fitted and put in place getting a spare one as absorbing the water is also making the plastic increasingly brittle and sooner or later its going to snap; sooner as its stiffening up I am afraid.

Look on this link:

Or Towsure if you cant find the one you want in your local outlet.

If the sink is from Cramer and is a combined sink/hob then they will be the ones to supply the correct tap.
