. . . . convenient workspace close to the sink. We used a pair of 'fold-flat' spring-latched hinges (available from any decent caravan accessory stockist) . . . .

We are newbies to campervanning and I'd like to add a worktop that will fold down flat when not in use and be nice and sturdy when up. I have tried several searches on Google and can't find these hinges on the Internet. Can anyone help with advice and guidance on how to make such a worktop and where to get suitable hinges from.

Thanks in advance - Elly

There are some brackets in the CAK Tanks catalogue the worktop lies flat down the wall and then lifts up to lock. You would need to find some solid supports in van to screw them to.CAK are at Kenilworth and do mail order.

Thanks, David.

I downloaded their on line catalogue and they seem to have the perfect solution for my worktop idea.

Loads of other great accessories too for caravanning and campervanning etc.

Think a trip over to them may be our fist journey when we pick up the van next week.

If you are anywhere near Nuneaton then you can get everything you need to make a folding w/top from Jacksons of Old Arley
