For various reasons, we have had to part with our c/van and buy a folding camper, i just wondered what the CC stance was on these, are they still allowed on sites, and can you still have hard standings??

We have a Pennine Pathfinder folding camper and have had no problems with booking with the CC. Apparently as it is a wheeled unit it is acceptable. A folding camper is just a caravan lower half and a canvas roof. Ringing one of the sites should get you a proper answer, though I believe that the same question is seen in one of the CC FAQ web pages.
