Unfortunatly I will be in the foreign when you retire so my invitation will land on an empty mat. Do have a nice day, it is a milestone and a move to another era. One that can be enjoyed every second. The best tip I can give you is to become midweek caravaneers, We find Sunday to Thursday works for us.

Good luck and try not to dwell on the inevitable decline of the Post Office.( and keep taking the tablets)

Unfortunately, (thankfully really!!) Hubby will not be joining me in retirement yet:O) so mid week caravanning remains something for the future, although the extra day or two tagged onto weekends will be welcome!

There is absolutely no way I shall dwell upon the demise of the Post Office :O) having told them where to put their job... well nearly, Lol I shall be glad to walk away, and celebrate my "retirement" with one big fat bottle of bubbly!! :O)

Wendy I take it from your post you worked for the post office. maybe you can clear up an argument we have been having at my work. Peoplke tell me the post office has been privatised but I thought it was still a nationalised industry.

Your colleagues are correct - the Post Office was privatised, a few years ago. However, the only shareholders are the Government!!
