Ford focus cmax 1.6

Hi
Does anyone know how easily a ford focus cmax 1.6 can tow a Conway folding camper?

hi, welcome to the forum, perhaps the question should be. how will towing a Conway folding camper affect the performance of the C max, well the answer is very little, arriving at a calculation of the towing performance using the usual power to weight ratio and vehicle to trailer ratio, used for the average caravan I would guess that under tow you would hardly notice the trailer was on the back.
as an aside one of the regular contributors tows a similar trailer with a Skoda fabia 1.2 the focus is a more powerful and heavier tug,

Look at you vehicle registration document (V5) and let us know the stated kerb weigh/mass in service, plus the braked and unbraked towing weights.

Also let us know the max permissible weight of the folding camper. We can then advise more accurately.

I doubt very much these weights will be on the V5, the Focus in question is a 2003, mines a 2004 and there is no weights on mine just blank spaces were they should be!!.

Does this link help?

Such web sites cannot be used as definitive information. Use the data plate on the car which should have the Gross Vehicle weight and Gross Train Weight the difference being the allowable towed weight.,
