Is a Ford Focus 1.8 litre capable of towing a caravan. If so what size caravan?

My sources suggest that all Focus 1.8 petrol cars/estates are rated to tow 1200Kg. The 1.8 Diesel are rated to tow 1500Kg

So the answer is yes they will tow.

As always check with the cars specific handbook or the dealer/manufacture for specific information relating to your model, as limits can be different for some models.

I have the 1.8 TDCI estate an 03 plate) - it's a diesel by the way. And it tows my little Coachman (mtplm 1100kg) like a dream - even on steep inclines I rarely have to take it out of fifth.

watch the nose weight on the focus it is 50kg max

this is very poor for towing.
