Just a quick one guys,Ford are putting the Landrover Freelander 2.2TD in the Galaxy which will give it 174bhp,as from March.

I am impressed, did they have to shrink the Freelander to get it in.

Will the 2.2TD be man enough to handle the 2 cars ) lol

I have read that it is the PSA engine that is going in some new Fords - Smax and Mondeo which will be a stonking tow car.Plenty of power and loads of torque.

Isn't the LD engine the PSA engine ? Could be wrong.

I believe,according to the fithgear program the engine is a renault unit which also powers the citreon c crosser.
