How are you supposed to use the "search" on this forum please? I have posted on several different topics in the past when I'm sure ,if I knew how,I could find a previous post already covering my question..........or have I missed something!!!

The search facility is rubbish. I've even been unable at times to find my own postings, let alone anyone else's.

I am a member of a classic car site and the ease in which you can find any answer to any question is so, so easy. Many of the topics are "pinned" as well and figure on the home page and remain "for ever". I have tried searches on here before, in fact I always do before I post a new topic, but I have yet to have any success. Can a moderator please give some instruction,Thanks, Terry.

Take that back, just did a couple of searches and both worked. Don't know what was wrong before. One has to be logged in with password to use the search which I always was. TAll I can suggest is to try again.
