Dear all

How does this forum sticker grab anyone?

We will taken in any feedback, but the closing date for comments is Monday 19th. That ensures we have time to make a few tweaks, get them printed and get them ready in time for the Reader Rally!

There is space for you all to add your forum name on the top right. The whole sticker is designed to fit inside a window and is removable / movable as required.

Maybe nit-picking but what are the dimensions Nigel?

It looks fine to me and if the example shown is near to the actual size it would be about right.
Most other caravan forums make the mistake of using really large stickers which renders then unuseable for car back windows.

It is 200mm x 66mm

That is about 8in x 3in for those who work in imperial measures!

And it's not too late! Closing date for comments in Monday 19th - that is next monday, so ponder it over the weekend if required!

There's always one miserable one---this time it's me i'm afraid!
Love the top line where you put name etc
love the big bright yellow practical caravan etc
It's the bit on the right of the web page tooo much info on there for a sticker. Cant read what it say's at the moment but maybe better if it had to go on!!!
Perhaps you could replace it with a picture of a caravan and not to be biased toward any company (or upset any one) you could select a classic van.

I wouldn't say that you were being miserable Kev, it's a good point and you're the only one who has thought of it.
The picture of the website Home Page isn't telling anything to those who happen to glance at the sticker, maybe a generic caravan logo or a caravan picture would be more eye catching?

I'm all for stickers but would like to have seen a caravan as a subtle backdrop.
I like the "My Forum name is".
Otherwise all a good step in the right direction.

Great... Though it'd take a bit of the fun out of guessing who your neighbours on site might be... or is it just me that makes "I bet that's (such and such) over there" assumptions?

I too, agree with Kev - scrap the web page bit and insert a picture/graphic of a caravan and I would also prefer it a bit smaller than 8 by 3in. How about 7 by 2?
Also, how would those of us not going to the PC rally get hold of one?
(Note to self - must change my name - can never remember the number bit!!)

I would get rid of the page replica and keep it simple. The page print adds nothing to to message and looks messy. Give a little more space to the My Forum Name to avoid people having to come very close to the caravan to read what is written there. Do a few trials on mock ups. Name should be legible (assuming people write in sensible sized text) from at least 2 mts. which I don't think will be possible now - some of us have quite long Forum names.

Apart from that, - something we have been wanting for quite a long time. Trust they will be available without undue delay or formality.

Ok. Total size is unchanged, but the web page has gone to be replaced by a little caravan. The name box is bigger too. We'll never get everyone to agree, but I hope this is an improvement!

Looks just about spot on to me Nigel, I will again repeat the already asked question how do those of us not going to the rally get one?

Better but lose the picture and centre the Practical Caravan text. After all does anyone need a picture of a caravan when PRACTICAL CARAVAN is in large type. Further the sticker is intended for other caravanners who are fully aware of what a caravan is. I for one am not keen on displaying what amounts to an advert for any one make. For the mag - fine.

Hi Nigel,

The second looks better than the first in mho, not sure about the van choice though, but hey you're never going to please everyone especially us totally grumpy regulars!!

As an aside how would those of us unable to make the Reader Rally get ours?? Would it be a case of creeping around the moderators to give you our addresses for them to be posted out to us??

I think ours would have to go in the back window of the van as the car windows are slightly different to the normal rear screens on normal cars and we would want to detract attention from our travel bug!!

What about just a 'generic' caravan symbol, such as that used on road signs, rather than a specific (if 'niche') brand?????
Can we get GagaKev to produce 'individualised' versions for us???????
