France first time - Cherbourge

We are travelling to France next month for our "first time aboard". Staying at L'Anse du Brick 9 miles from Cherbourge. We have completed the check list and ticked all the boxes.

Are there any unforseen pitfalls to look out for?

Hi Clubman, We are sailing from Poole on the 3rd Sep and returning on the 10th. On the 2nd we are staying at Hunters Moon. If you see us with our new Sterling Searcher do come and say hello. Colin.

You'll be a day ahead of us! We will be leaving from home, Winchester, for the 90 minute drive to Poole. Our first night will at the municipal site at Carentan approx 30 miles south of Cherbourg. We will not be back home until the beginning of October. Enjoy your trip!
