Frdge problem

During our weekend away our fidge stopped working on electric.

On our journey home we swithed it to run from the car, the fridge was found to be working when we arrived home. We then tried it on gas and this continued to work the fridge, the fuse has been checked and seems to be ok, any ideas?

your problem is with the 240 volt heating element as it works on gas and 12volt

Hi Mark

We have had the same problem and our fridge (a Thetford 97litre) had to have a new control board. Thankfully it was still under the manufacturers warranty. It did cure all the problems that we had experienced with the fridge though.
Hope you get it sorted out ok.
