Freedom Caravan Stabiliser

Hi All

Does anyone out there have a Freedom Caravan with a stabiliser fitted? I would be delighted to hear how you did it. I have recently bought a 2008 model Sunseeker. I had planned to fit an old fashioned blade type one, but the fairing on the A-frame appears to be rivetted on, making fitting appear difficult. One of those Al-Ko stability hitches was recommended to me but I was then asked whether it was an Al-Ko or BPW chassis. I didn't know so phoned the Freedom Dealer in Stafford and he said it was a Polish type of chassis.

Any help gratefully recieved.

I have seen lots of freedom caravan about and different years of manufature. When a stabiliser has been fitted a AL-Ko 1300 seems to be the one every body goes for. Never ever seen he old blade type. Hope this is some elp to you

Thanks Steve, It's helpful to know that there's something that fits. Does anyone know whether it is the Al-Ko or BPW chassis compatible version that would work with my caravan?

Thanks for your help with this, Another call to the dealer who sold me the caravan managed to acertain that the AL-KO stability hitch for the AL-Ko chassis would work.

had you asked freedom caravans they would have told you that an aks 1300 stabiliser is normally the one fitted to these models
