Has anyone taken their Freesat Box to Europe yet. I realise that it has only been going for a couple of months or so but I would be interested in any details of reception, where, size of dish etc.

With the single exception of the Freesat EPG, the channel transmissions used by Freesat are exactly the same as those used by FreesatfromSky and Sky itself - so whatever works for Sky will work for Freesat.

There is a further technical difference in that Sky won't be getting ITV HD so Freesat HD will offer a bigger choice than Sky HD.
 
just come a week ago from Dordogne in France used standard Sky dish with my sky box , recieved all the channels that i recieve here in UK
