I notice that Maplin are offering a satellite kit for £79.99 - which includes a receiver. On the face of it, this seems a good offer. As someone who wants to get reception at sites which have poor or no terestrial reception, is this a kit which could be adapted to fit the bill. I would welcome comments from those who know about these things.

I have a French Hypermarket Digital sat system that works fine anywhere.

I had the Maplins email yesterday and can't see any reason why it shouldn't be fine.

Maplins are very good on returns, so you could set it up in the van and try it at home!
