freeview connection

Freeview box doesn't work properly unless I wobble the SCART in the TV socket. Tries two leads. Any ideas????

Sounds like bad connection in the socket or possible loose wire/joint on the back of the socket or printed circuit board. Since freeview boxes are so cheap now, not worth taking it to be repaired unless you're handy with a soldering iron.

Thanks Legs..... I'm trying the box on home telly. If it works I know it's the van tv.

Seeing the tour of britain tomorrow- shall I look out for some legs for you?
