Freeview signal meter

I have a satellite finder meter that I used when using my satellite dish set-up. Just wondered if I could use it, with co-ax adaptors, to help position my caravan's directional aerial? Or do I have to buy a meter specifically for terrestial digital signal? Thanks in advance for any help. Paul

Satellite and terrestrial transmissions are totally different so you'll need a DTV signal finder.
If you're handy with a compass, the Wolfbane website is good to pre-plan things using the postcode or grid reference of your site which will give a compass bearing of the strongest signal and identify where the signal needs horizontal or vertical alignment of the aerial.
In reality, you may do better sticking to satellite !
