Hi all,
Question:The car is charged as class 1, and the caravan as class 2 Are the two amounts added together or does class 2 price cover the complete outfit? An answer would be appreciated!

One charge at class 2 rate.
Don't go and give anybody ideas about getting more money out of us!

I'm not sure about twin axle caravans - certainly in Spain I've had the toll keeper coming out of the both to count the axles before deciding what to charge. (But this may mean class 3).
 
Funnily enough I didn't think so either, but at one toll both down towards Zaragoza the operator always pops out of the booth to count the axles on the caravan and then mutters something about 'classe' The tolls are low relative to France and I am in the middle of a very long day's leg at that point so i have never stopped to investigate.
