Freshwater East CC site?

Has anyone attended the above site? If so, can you tell me how far away the dog walk is (listed as 'nearby') and is it OK for larger dogs? Thanks in advance.

The Dog Walk at Feshwater East starts opposide the site entrance. There are footpaths up into the hillside or down to a lovely sandy beach where dogs are allowed. Our two Alsations prefered the beach (and water), although they did enjoy a cliff top walk to Stackpole Quay one day. (Lovely lunches in the teashop there). Freshwater East site is excellent, but long and narrow! Pitching at the bottom end means a long walk back to the gate before you can start your walk. It was a novelty at first, but after a few days it got to be a chore, especially when raining.

Excellent site, good for humans as well.

Worth a visit, and we`ll be back.

Didn`t take the dog last time, but it`s a definate for the next one.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Having booked the site for a period in May/June I am now looking forward to it.
