FRESHWATER EAST CC SITE

Several years ago i stayed on this site with my very young family. It appealed to me because it said it had direct access to the beach or at least very close. We were sited at the very far end of the site with two small children under 3 and although the site was very close to the beach to my dissapointment the beach was not dog free and while i have 2 dogs of my own i was not happy to take my babies and let them crawl on the sand not knowing what was just under the surface. Probably not relevant now but the wardens were pretty miserable too!
 
My wife and I stayed at Freshwater East last summer, and enjoyed it. The site is long and narrow, and opens on to a sandy beach. It's a great area for walks of all kinds, but perhaps not ideal for young children if the weather's bad. Very pleasant wardens.
