fridge not cooling

hi guys- i have a 2006 sterling with standard fridge but over the weekend the fridge stopped working in the way it didnt cool at all!

the green light on the switch still illuminated to say it was on 230v so power is getting to the fridge -

anyone any ideas if maybe a fuse has gone (and where they would be located as i know there is a 16a fuse somewhere but in the manual it does not give me a clue as to where to find it)

or would it be something more seriuos like an element gone?

any help would be appreciated

I am no expert but if the light indicating that you had power to the fridge stayed on then I would think that the problem is not with the fuse, as if the fuse had blown surley that would have cut all power to the unit and the power light would not have been on.

The green light simply means power is available at the switch.

It has no relevance as to whether the element is working or not.

A simple way to check if the element has failed is put the fridge on for 20 minutes on electric, remove the lower vent cover and feel the heating element where it enters the burner tube on the right.

If it is hot, its working, if its not, you need a new one.
