Fixed the 12v problem but made another one.Anyone know where I can get a door shelve for my Electroux fridge

preferably online.

Hi John The Model is an Electrolux RM4271. I have broken the top door shelf.

Dimensions are Length 15" Height 2.5" Depth 2.5 "

Our fridge had the half length shelf part way down the door for a couple of bottles which we didn't like and Electrolux supplied me with the top egg rack shelf with the blue cover to replace it FOC !!

As we are changing the van I will be replacing the original so the egg rack shelf will be surplus to requirements if its any good to you.

Which part of the country are you?

Our fridge had the big blue salad box on the door.

Let me get this straight, you replaced a part that was designed so that it would take a couple of life saving, appearance enhancing, knowledge increasing bottles, for an egg holder?

Don't worry your little head about enhancement you are big enough already--or so its said.
 
The deal had cracked on the top of our fridge door. (electrolux) How do we order just the seal of do we have to buy a new door or new fridge?
 
Just to elaborate for Lol's benefit the RM 6270 has a full width shelf at the top of the door with a hinged blue cover called by them/us the egg shelf/rack.

Hanging from this is a half length shelf which we replaced with the new top shelf from Dometic

This was not without some difficulty as in Feb this year it was not listed in the parts book and several dealers checked for us .

The picture was there but no part no.

I asked at the NEC on the Dometic stand and they kindly offered to send me the egg rack shelf (we looked in a fridge and that is what they called it)

A few weeks later a small box arrived with two egg racks.

A phone call to Dometic resulted in the desired part complete with hinged blue cover being sent FOC

Excellent service.
 
Thanks for taking the trouble John, I have e:mailed Dometic, but as yet no response, as an ex Electrolux employee it really dosn't supprise me.
