Fridge

Hi

Ive just returned from a holiday in France where the weather was very warm, the problem that we had was in trying to keep our food in our fridge cool but it just couldn't cope with the heat. The caravan is a new Sterling Europa 2006.

The most important thing with the fridges in caravans is the level. If your caravan was perfectly level then you may have a problem with the refrigerent having an airlock and cannot flow properly. Let it stand for a week or so and start it again with the van level. If this does not work it will have to be back to your dealer. Try it on gas as well as electric!

Best of luck.

During the recent hot weather we were at the Malvern C.C. site and the daytime temp was 34c. The fridge in our Senator Wyoming 2004 was struggeling to keep the food cool during the daytime. I was advised to switch to gas from 9-00am to say 9-00pm and revert back to electric for the nightime. It worked perfectly.
