I assume you mean the fridge interior light, or is a display panel illuminated.

Are you certain there is no power to anything else, plug in an appliance to 12v socket for instance, no lights working ?

If not on EHU you are obviously sourcing power from the battery (or some other back up battery related to the fridge).

I too am intrigued as to what is going on, more informed people will be along to advise you soon I guess.

If the vans 12v system is on, then the fridge light will be illuminated when its door is open, even when mains electricity and gas are not operating as energy sources. At least that is the way older fridges work

Well the fridge isn't cold so off. But the display and led light remains on. We have taken the leisure battery fuse out and everything goes off so this is its power supply. Is it normal for the display to remain on? If it is normal does this not drain the Battery?

Hi Jaystead,

Lots of different models of fridges out there, but just a possibility comes to mind; my fridge has a setting that is "off", it is a symbol on the dial and to be honest I had not really noticed it initially (the other symbols being 12v, Gas and Electric.

I overlooked said symbol in the past , just a thought friend.

At least you are narrowing things down, good luck.

Hi Jaysted, My van is in Storage , so cannot be fully be sure but seem to think that we have 12 volt power to the fridge all the time. Even with the master switch off so, draining the battery, slowly.
