Fridges

Hello everyone, we have just bought our first caravan and are off to our first park tomorrow.

Our only concern is that our fridge is not making any noise what so ever, and wondered if this is normal.

We have just put it on via electic hook up to our house to get it cold for the morning.

Any advise would be greatfully recieved.

We would just like to thank everyone on this site as we have found all your advice and tips extremely helpful.

Hi Ted

No noise is quite normal.

Its mode of operation is by evaporation with no moving parts, so that it can run on gas, 12v or 240v mains.

Your domestic refridgerator freezer has a compressor that purrs.
