100/80 make a big difference, you try staying in a country area without street lamps and tsray deer, cows ,badgers etc - the brighter the lights the better! Seriously though modern cars sleek design of headlamps do not make best use of the available light, low slung fog (fox!) lights do light some of the road edges.
